It is with the utmost pleasure that I introduce to you the esteemed Pastor Gene James, who has been faithfully serving as the senior pastor of Faith Rising Christian Fellowship from its inception in October 2013. Before his current role at FRCF, Dr. James held the esteemed position of Senior Pastor at The Garden Church in Scottsdale, and he also founded a thriving community of faith known as Faith Family Community Church.

Pastor James brings a rich background to his work, having been born in Natchez, Mississippi. His family later migrated to Louisiana, and then he joined the United States Air Force in 1975. After serving for eight years, he pursued higher studies in Chiropractic and practiced in Phoenix for over two decades. Arizona has been his home since he moved there in 1978, and he has been happily married to his lovely wife Kim for over 28 years, with whom he has been blessed with five wonderful children.

Apart from his immense work in ministry, Dr. James is also a skilled motivational speaker, teacher, and presenter, having written several books on topics that range from “Because Tomorrow Is Not Promised” to “Let’s Talk Man to Man” to the essential “Bible Study Essentials”. Additionally, Pastor Gene James has earned the highly respected distinction of being a Distinguished Toastmaster, an esteemed and prestigious honor bestowed upon a select few by the Toastmasters Club.
